I am a 2-D artist who turned potter a couple of years ago. I received a month long fellowship/residency at Ragdale, in Lake Forest Illinois, where I chose to work with clay to try and reproduce some of my two dimensional paintings into 3 dimensional clay pieces. I’ve had both fun and failure with this challenge, but I haven’t given up yet. I’ve been at Clayworks for a couple of years after having been embraced by this wonderful community, and learning from the skills and experience of its members!
