Clayworks offers classes at our studio 4 times per year. We teach a variety of pottery techniques, including wheel throwing, hand-building, extruder work, and glazing.
Clayworks is pleased to offer the following classes for 2025:
Winter Term is January 7, 2025 - March 11, 2025
Spring Term is March 25, 2025 - May 27, 2025
Summer Term is June 17, 2025 - August 19, 2025
Fall Term TBA - usually mid-September to mid-November
Classes are for new and returning students and experienced potters. See below for additional information.
Classes are ten week sessions. Two class times are offered. Tuesday morning, 9 a.m. to noon and Tuesday evening, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Labs are offered to supplement classes. These are held Tuesday noon to 3 p.m., Thursday 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.
Classes have up to 10 students catering to all skill levels. The instructors teach each level as determined by the makeup of the class.
Cost: $250 per term, which includes:
25lbs. of clay
studio glazes
firing of ware
studio use during lab times
*Students are responsible for their own tools.*
